Dr. Peter H. Addy
PhD, LPC, LMHC
Dr. Peter Addy is a Yale-trained researcher and licensed psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience exploring the intersections of consciousness, clinical practice, and psychedelics. He earned his PhD in clinical psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology and completed postdoctoral research at the Yale School of Medicine, studying altered states and the neurobiology of consciousness.
Specializing in ketamine-assisted therapy, integration support, and non-ordinary states of awareness, Dr. Addy brings both scientific rigor and deep compassion to his teaching. His work emphasizes ethics, cultural humility, and the belief that psychedelic practice is ultimately about connection and meaning.
At Psychedelic Affirming Education, he leads courses on assessment, ethics, and clinical integration, helping learners apply evidence-based, legally sound, and human-centered approaches to psychedelic care.
