Our Mission

To make psychedelic education safe, credible, and accessible. We exist to ensure that anyone, from first-time participants to experienced clinicians, can learn how to prepare for, support, and integrate psychedelic experiences responsibly. Our mission is to replace misinformation with clear guidance, to promote safety over sensationalism, and to help create a culture of care within this growing field.

Our Vision

We envision a world where psychedelic education is rooted in science and delivered with integrity. A world where clinicians, facilitators, and individuals alike understand how to engage with these powerful experiences responsibly — honoring both the evidence and the human spirit behind the work. Our long-term vision is to raise the standard for psychedelic training worldwide, ensuring that education remains ethical, inclusive, and affordable.

Our Approach

We believe education should be both clinically rigorous and human-centered. Every course we offer is designed around three principles:

  • Science over speculation — our teachings are grounded in peer-reviewed research, not trends.

  • Ethics before expansion — safety, legality, and professional integrity come first.

  • Accessibility without compromise — quality psychedelic education should never be out of reach.

About the Instructors

At Psychedelic Affirming Education, our instructors are more than educators — they are active clinicians, researchers, and community leaders who have spent years shaping the modern landscape of psychedelic-assisted therapy. Each brings a rare blend of academic rigor, ethical integrity, and lived professional experience to their teaching.

Dr. Peter H. Addy

PhD, LPC, LMHC

Dr. Peter Addy is a Yale-trained researcher and licensed psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience exploring the intersections of consciousness, clinical practice, and psychedelics. He earned his PhD in clinical psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology and completed postdoctoral research at the Yale School of Medicine, studying altered states and the neurobiology of consciousness. Specializing in ketamine-assisted therapy, integration support, and non-ordinary states of awareness, Dr. Addy brings both scientific rigor and deep compassion to his teaching. His work emphasizes ethics, cultural humility, and the belief that psychedelic practice is ultimately about connection and meaning. At Psychedelic Affirming Education, he leads courses on assessment, ethics, and clinical integration, helping learners apply evidence-based, legally sound, and human-centered approaches to psychedelic care.

Dr. Lindsay Wilkinson

ND, LAc

Dr. Lindsay Wilkinson is a naturopathic physician and licensed acupuncturist who bridges integrative medicine, trauma-informed care, and psychedelic preparation. With over a decade of clinical experience, she combines medical knowledge with compassionate guidance to help individuals engage safely and meaningfully with altered states of consciousness. Her work emphasizes ethical preparation, emotional safety, and embodied integration — blending neuroscience, mindfulness, and somatic awareness to support both personal and professional growth. At Psychedelic Affirming Education, Dr. Wilkinson develops and teaches courses that empower learners to approach psychedelics with intention, safety, and care, reminding us that true preparation is as much emotional and relational as it is intellectual.
